Fire Ants can destroy electrical motors, etc. and harm people and pets. The fire ant population increases once warm temperatures return. They can be controlled year long but treatment is most effective when the ants are actively feeding. Each colony must be controlled for long lasting effect. The larger the area treated the better the level of control. Spot spraying is used for structures and baits for lawn or small acreage treatment.
